From Shocking Outbursts to Disgraceful Actions: The Unraveling of Donald Trump’s Mental State
by Annette Dion
Donald Trump is, by far, the most mentally ill person I have ever borne witness to, both personally and publicly, in my entire life. There is in actual fact not one person that I can say I would deem more evidentially, visibly and audibly mentally ill than Donald J Trump.
In the course of just a few days Donald Trump has once again done or said shocking, but for a long time now, not surprising anymore things that make it exceedingly, undeniably and overwhelmingly clear. This monster-person is not only a million-times-over unfit to hold any job at all, but his continual terrorizing and assaults-of-all-kinds warrants that he be shut out from civilized society for the entirety of the remaining years of his life. I believe the word for that is “prison.” The charge? Psychological crimes to humanity.
Maybe it’s time to reach out to Glenn Kirshner to ask him if there is such a thing.
I say get Trump the hell outa here. Now. Yesterday. Not later.
While Congress has been in summer recess we do not presently have the “privilege” of seeing large-scale, and, more readily, how his MAGA cohorts would right now be defending him. For they have repeatedly shown that even if he went so far as to cause harm (God forbid, but you wouldn’t put it past him) to closest, beloved family members, there is a demonstrably good chance that the loyal MAGAs in our Congress would continue making elaborate and unbelievable excuses for him and continue to loyally support him. Consequences be dammed.
President of United Auto Workers Union Shawn Fain, for me, really put it perfectly:
“Donald Trump is a SCAB”.
Incidentally I recently saw an entire Union United Auto Workers Teamsters photo with all the members wearing the T-shirts, available now. Sounds like a pretty good use of my money right there.
This morning, thanks to now 3-million subscriber strong pro-democracy channel Meidas Touch, I was given the “privilege” of seeing video clips of a Moms Of Liberty (MOL) interview held in DC with Trump yesterday. MOL is, as I sincerely hope you have already been informed of, is a divisive group of “Stepford Wives” women who spend all of their precious life energies finding new and innovative ways to bully innocent school children, their families, school staffs themselves and your local friendly library and librarians.
I watched in horror and disbelief (not, by any means, for the first time) as a drunken-appearing, slurring Trump rambled through senseless sentences, slumped in his chair, eyes puffy and barely open during this interview. I bore cringing witness to the cringe-worthy behavior of the interviewer; a MOL mom who also apparently felt the need to keep sprinkling into the conversation their catch phrase; “need to protect their children.”
From what? I ask incredulously. From YOU?
This perfectly coifed, with perfect make-up and a brunette, 1950s barbie-doll-looking green dress and appearance, was struggling to show signs in her responses that Trump was acting like a normal person. Well. Make no mistake about it. He wasn’t. Unless you consider behavior that resembles a person who just stumbled out of the local watering hole having had one-too-many shots of tequila. He made zero sense.
What was that phrase that ill-chosen Sarah Palin kept using, running in 2008 with John McCain? “Putting lipstick on a pig”? Ya. That.
I wrote the other day about the desperate need that we Americans have to hold mainstream media accountable for letting these horror shows go on without covering them. Moms Of Liberty are taking schoolbooks away from children for God’s sake. They have it “all covered” in the Trump-associated Project 2025, where they outline their strategic plan to obliterate the United States Department of Education entirely. They want to take it right off the American map, for ALL American children. These women are beyond reprehensible. They are pure, unadulterated evil.
But wait. There’s more!
Thanks to Brian Tyler Cohen’s YouTube channel, I saw footage today of an enraged Trump rally participant literally climbing a platform where the media cameras were set up. As security rushed in, struggling to wrest him away from the railings and pull him down, it taking several law enforcement people to hold and cuff him, you could hear Trump proclaiming proudly, “He’s one of us! He’s one of us!”. I’m not sure whether this guy intended to fist fight members of the press or what, but there were whispers of January 6th all over the place, waving again in the wind.
What do you think Trump had been saying just moments before, to incite this kind of behavior? Doesn’t take a genius. He was verbally attacking the press. Of course.
Mob boss. Incite the crime, let someone else commit the crime. Brush your hands of it. Get away with it, time and time again. Scot free.
All this, with the backdrop of the Arlington cemetery incident on Monday; a day when he once again made negative history.
Donald Trump became the first person ever to attempt to, and succeed at getting a political photo shoot for himself in restricted area section 60, where it is stated, verbally stated, photography is strictly forbidden. Yes. Prohibited. Yes, in our nation’s most sacred and respected hallowed ground in our military history. That.
In true to form fashion, Trump swapped out any semblance of expected dignity, respect and honor, of following the law, and replaced all that with disgrace and disgust. He stood there and the photographers shot away, taking pictures of him with his stupid ass “thumbs up” on the graves of fallen American soldiers. These, the most respected members of our society, who had given the ultimate sacrifice for the cause of democracy were treated by a former occupant of the Oval Office with a “who cares?” and a thumbs up.
Trump’s staff literally bullied and assaulted a guard employee there who was informing them of the rules of the cemetery. Rules? Donald Trump? The two could not be stranger bedfellows.
There is more to talk about when we talk about this poor excuse for a human being, this monster, this SCAB, (thanks, Shawn) but to write more would take an entire day. For now I am pleading with us, with all the energy and resources that I can muster, for us to dig deeply and to engage ourselves, our resources, our friends and loved ones, our military families and communities in the fight to save ourselves once and for all from this hell.
Haven’t we been abused and assaulted by this weak and little man, posing as a strong guy, bloviating and bullying our entire nation, for long enough?
The time to act was yesterday. IF you didn’t happen to get to it then, there is no time better to start than today. That’s right now.
The election is…wait for it… slightly more than 8 weeks away.
Save our democracy. Protect your family. No one, and I mean NO ONE wants to live under the reign of this unspeakable evil.
Enough already. We can do this.
