Today I invite you to partake of a little bit of an imagination game. Thank you in advance for allowing me to have you indulge in this imagining.
In this foray into our dream worlds, we see two different scenes juxtaposed.
In a vision, you see yourself in a building, and down the hall you see a door that opens to a grand scene of a huge event. As you walk closer you hear voices of people laughing, singing; engaged in lively conversation. You have a sense that these people are living pretty well and that they are genuinely happy. When you get to the door and look in there is a huge table adorned with lots of mouth-watering foods and beverages. Your favorite music is playing.
The attendees are nice, happy and expressive. They are jovial and welcome you in. The air in the room is vibrant and celebratory. You feel good amongst these people who are clearly enjoying themselves and the event. They feel very freewheeling. Some are dancing. It rubs off on you. Before long you, too, are boisterously laughing and talking. You are meeting new friends.
Now. The dream ends. In the juxtaposing other dream scene there is this. Only this doesn’t feel much like a dream, it feels like a nightmare.
As you are walking towards the door of this scene you hear music that is hard and militant, far from jovial. The doorway is dark with a tint of red to it. This is only a dream, don’t worry, so you will not be subjected to harm. You are just like a fly on the wall. As you enter into this room you feel one major thing: stifling suppression. It feels hard to breathe. People in the room are like moving mannequins, dressed alike and moving robotically. They are not saying much, but you notice that when they do speak it is in quiet and fearful tones.
In this reality the food is there on the banquet table, but it looks terrible, barely edible. You’re not sure how long it has been sitting there but you know that you would not feel safe eating it. Nobody is holding a cell phone, nobody is laughing. They do feign a smile here and there, but only when asked.
In the dream you see there are rules. On the wall you see a poster with the rules on it. As you read them you see they are nonsensical. They are the rules of North Korea.
The people in that room are living under these rules and are being reminded of them repeatedly. As a side note, no one is allowed here in this room unless they are fairly wealthy and have government approval, which they do. They live in Pyongyang.
Since they are from Pyongyang they are considered the “lucky ones”. But they also are subjected to these laws.
Here are some of them. There are a lot more. But these alone feel ample enough to account for the suffocating, oppressive feeling in the room of your nightmare.
Just a few of the rules:
the leader of North Korea tells you what you get to see on government TV, the only TV watching that is allowed.
there is only one cell phone service in the country, serving 3 million people, by permission.
no internet is allowed. None at all.
if you use too much electricity, like use a forbidden microwave, you will be thrown in prison or a prison work camp.
if you break the law, like aforementioned “using too much electricity” law, you will be arrested and sent to a labor camp, and your entire family can be punished for 3 generations; this includes your parents, grandparents, siblings and even unborn children.
you must not be seen smiling or laughing on the anniversary of the death of Kim Jung Un’s grandfather Kim Il-Sung, and you must attend the commemoration. If you are caught smiling, (or worst yet, laughing), you will be thrown in prison and could get the death penalty.
your haircut must be government-approved. Only 28 hairstyles are approved.
As you are bearing witness to the eerie goings on in this room, you begin to notice some commotion. Someone is being led out of the room but you don’t know why. The military police are hauling them out. You can see the look of horror on the person’s face, but they are led out, no one questions the officers. Off they go, perhaps never to be seen again.
Now. Wake up. Come back.
Let’s go back to the first dream. This is what I see and feel as the potential for America. This is what we now have. This is what we are building for the future for our children and grandchildren. This is what continues to be possible for America, and her people.
We are achieving and striving for prosperity and good things for as many people as possible. We have felt and known that we have so many freedoms that our fathers and forefathers and soldiers of wars before laid down for us. WE are allowed to have lives that are worth celebrating. WE are in the dream of democracy.
The second dream is the one that Project 2025 feels like.
Project 2025 definitely has directly or indirectly been influenced by Kim Jung Un’s North Korea.
It is what I would call: the TRUMP NIGHTMARE.
In the “Trump nightmare” you would basically have Kim Jung Un’s North Korea. America would be isolated from the rest of the world, for DJT would have us CUT OFF from the rest of the world, as he so often attempted while in office. Our allies would be forced to dump us. Many of us and our loved ones would perish, for what we need to survive would not be, or would barely be provided. The government would care about nothing more than keeping us all in line, according to what THEY wanted.
We would have no federal government agencies protecting us from ANYTHING. Quite to the contrary.
Would we be required by law to have a picture of Trump in every household? Or possibly receive the death penalty if we do not? Would we only be able to watch state TV and hear exclusively only what the Trump government wants us all to hear? One thing is for sure, we would feel imprisoned by our own country.
Trump brags repeatedly, and has for the past 8 years, about “getting along great” with Kim Jong Un. He is of the dictators ilk. He says he will be a dictator from “day one” if we ever allow him to set foot in our beloved White House again.
Trump is the first US president ever to welcome Kim with open and loving arms, even going to North Korea to show what great pals they are. Trump boasts endlessly that they send “love letters” to one another. He proudly exhibits a picture of them together on the walls of Mar-A-Lago.
Waking up now… THIS, my fellow Americans, is what we are all up against. The only time available to us to change the trajectory entirely, head ourselves fully back into the actual, imperfect-but-FREEDOM touting “American dream” is to pick ourselves up right now, (time’s-a-wasting!) … and ACT.
Support candidates who are in support of keeping America a democracy. INFORM, INFORM, INFORM the low-information receiving citizens in your town or city. Write postcards, get out the vote, get people registered to vote, write to mainstream media and tell them to “knock it off” with the slanted, gaslighting and distorted news. We are in an emergency right now. We need them to do their jobs.

In an America reconfigured to be more like Kim Jung Un’s North Korea we ALL lose. We ALL become cut off from the rest of the world.
Case in point; does anyone reading this right now personally know somebody from North Korea? I rest my case.
Americans are getting involved more. As we find more and more out about the proposed “Project 2025” (see Joyce Vance’s new offerings that go over what is in the fascist proposal), we will see that the alternative to being proactive right now is to support a nightmare. Our OWN nightmare.
Let’s rise up. We can do it. We are the hope to the rest of the world that it CAN be done. Our allies are rooting for us. They know what the true America is really made of.
Let’s show them our dream.
